Some magazines are automative/transportation magazines. Which is your favorite such magazine?

I am solidly in the planes > cars camp, and I’m going to cheat by picking two magazines. To catch up on work-related stories, AeroSafety World is a must. For leisure reading, I go for Air & Space .
“But why not Aviation Week &-”
Shut your face I gave you my answer.

It used to be Car & Driver, and I guess it still is. But they're annoying a lot of the times.

My dad built an airplane in our basement when I was a kid and for years our family vacations were to AirVenture in Oshkosh, so I grew up with my nose in the latest (and months of previous issues of) Sport Aviation.

Car and Driver. Plenty of snark and they’re not afraid to bash a car. Some of the columns alone are worth the 911 and M3 biases.

Road & Track is awesome. Those cutaway drawings are awesome plus side glances. Shame they stopped doing the big format back in the early ‘00s.

My second most cherished publication as a kid was Dune Buggies and Hot VWs, which I subscribed to in preparation for the complete restoration of my first car, a 1968 Beetle.

I’m still a mainstream kinda guy: MT, C&D, R&T Car Craft was good and then Hot Rod got good. The UK mags are nice but who wants to pay $10 for them?

Racecar Engineering to stay current, and Octane or Classic & Sports Car for pleasure. Sports Car Market is a regular read too. And sometimes I slum it with a Hot VWs for old times’ sake.

For cars - anything produced by Hemmings. I’m particularly fond of Classic Car because of the broad focus of the cars it covers. Collectible Automobile was excellent as well.
For aircraft - the one and only, Combat Aircraft

Practical Classics is my favourite. Buying guides for classics (usually on the cheaper end of the scale), how-to’s ranging from seat re-upholstery to specific engine rebuilds, reviews and opinion pieces, tons of classified ads, user resto submissions, guides on how to fix known faults in popular classics and more.
Plus, one of their editors has a GAZ Chaika:
